Wow, I haven't posted here for quite a while!

Things have just been too crazy busy.

So, I'm sitting in a college library (not my college, my husband's He's across from me working on an assignment.) avoiding doing my assignments.

Yes, my husband and I are both back in college.  Yes, some of our classmates aren't much older than our children.  Yes, we are having a blast!  We're having to work hard, but things come so much easier than they did right out of high school.  We're also more confident and less self-conscious.

Anyway, I'm avoiding my homework because I already finished and turned in one major assignment today.  I was up late last night and up early this morning in order to get it finished on time.  There's also this little thing called spring break that I was officially on as of about 12:00 pm today.  I have some major projects due right after spring break, so I will have to make this a working break.

Anyway, maybe I'll actually get to start posting on here more.  One of the things that was stopping me before was our internet connection at home.  Our home computer is a dinosaur that has dial-up, so it was not at all easy to get a post to go through.

Have a blessed day!

Full Plates

Wow! Our plates have been full this month! I had intended to write for this blog every day, but that just hasn't been possible.

We have replaced our sump pump, water heater, and two furnaces this month. Today, we had to have our van towed to an automotive service shop. We think the starter is bad. Hopefully, it will be a simple fix and we can get it back tomorrow. Otherwise, we will have to figure out a solution to our transportation needs. Our other working vehicle only seats six.

January has been full of cuddles on the couches under heavy comforters reading historical fiction trying to stay warm and boiling water for baths and washing dishes. Activities that were suspended for the holidays are back in session, making our schedule full.

Now that we have heat and hot water, we're more able to focus on lessons and projects that were so difficult to attend to before. I miss the cuddling during the day. The children seemed to bicker less. So, I continue to read to the children snuggled under the comforters when we can in the evenings. Actually, I even called a snuggle time during the afternoon yesterday.

Our plates have been full and our finances have been tested. However, God has supplied our needs just as he did for the Philippians.

"And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19
